Richard "Dick" Miner

Richard "Dick" Miner was born February 2, 1928 to Glen and Marcia Miner in Harvey, North Dakota. He had one brother Bob Miner. Richard grew up in Devils Lake, ND and later attended UND. Richards career was spent with Lystads, Inc where he was President before selling it to Eco Lab, where he remained President for 2 years before retiring. He raised his family with Joanne Miner in Grand Forks, ND and enjoyed summer weekends at the cabin on Union Lake, MN while the family was young. Richard owns the cabin still today (over 60 years) and enjoys visiting when the kids are back for summer visits. Richard has 3 adult children; Mark, Paul, Michelle, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is very proud of his kids and speaks to them daily.

In retirement Richard spent his winters in Maui, Hawaii with his companion, Marge Berger. While they miss their warm Maui winters the kids use the condo today and keep them updated on neighbor news and goings on around the area. Dick and Marge also traveled the world visiting Asia, Europe, the Caribbean and Mexico, they had a great time together and enjoyed their many adventures. When not traveling Richard enjoyed hunting and visits to his "hunting shack" near Cooperstown, ND, fishing on Lake of the Woods or Union Lake and spending time with his family.

Richard is a member of the Methodist church in Erskine, MN.
